We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.</span></p><h1> </h1> <h1><span>PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES</span></h1> <p><span>Royalty Management Team members are experienced finance professionals that are responsible for the administration of third-party royalties under Inbound Licensing agreements.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>In order to assure smooth and seamless operations, the team delivers the best quality of services to various external and internal stakeholders such as Third-Party Licensors, Controlling, other Lines of Business (e.g., Partner Management, Strategic Pricing, Product Owners, Process Management, IT) and cooperates with multiple work-streams (e.g. Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Invoice Cloud, Software &amp; Support).</span></p> <p> </p> <h1><span>EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS</span></h1> <p><span>As a member of the Royalty Management Team, you will be able to accelerate your finance profession to the next level by focusing on the dedicated process group that you would be assigned to, while expending your expertise on strategic key elements of SAP’s finance structure.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>As a <strong>Royalty Finance Specialist</strong>, you will</span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Review, calculate, and report royalties based on third party-licensing agreements and SAP EULAs with respect to third party products across SAP Group.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Develop a strong understanding of the structure, revenue-expense mechanics, and financial implications of emerging commercial consumption based models.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Deep dive into new commercial models, ensuring accurate financial interpretation, alignment across end-to-end processes, and correct reflection of related transactions in financial reporting.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Support the design and documentation of standardized procedures (SOPs) to ensure sustainable and scalable finance operations under new commercial constructs.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Ensure high compliance standards (SOX).</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span>On top of that, supplemental tasks within the role do contain:</span></p> <p><span>Support of organizational development initiatives (e.g., process (re-)design, system improvements)</span></p> <p><span>Participation in cross-organizational projects</span></p> <p><span>Review of historical records</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>In addition to the aforementioned activities, this role offers numerous development opportunities on other skills and competencies which will help you to shape your future career path at SAP.
