The Machine Learning team continually leverages the latest advancements to unlock AI’s full potential in healthcare.</p><p>Yann LeCun, Meta’s Chief AI Scientist and AI Godfather, is an advisor to Nabla.</p><p></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><p>As a senior machine learning engineer, you’ll play a key role in redefining clinicians�� workflows, unlocking better care for patients, and ensuring Nabla remains at the forefront of AI innovation. You will take ownership of high-impact projects and contribute to the growth and maturity of our ML team and R&amp;D processes.</p><p>Within a team of experts who have built large-scale production systems at Facebook, Google, and Microsoft, you will:</p><ul><li><p>Lead ambitious ML projects, collaborating with multiple engineers to deliver impactful solutions.</p></li><li><p>Go beyond ambient scribing to fully redefine clinicians’ workflows with AI, unlocking transformative efficiencies and improved patient care.</p></li><li><p>Propose and guide experiments, model architectures, and data-labeling strategies to improve our speech-to-text, note generation, and normalization systems.</p></li><li><p>Implement, train, and deploy models in production, ensuring scalability and robustness in a live healthcare setting.</p></li><li><p>Optimize R&amp;D processes, enabling the team to ship new models quickly and confidently as we scale.</p></li><li><p>Stay at the cutting edge of AI research, sharing expertise and fostering technical growth within the team.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>To get a sense of the impact you’ll have:</p><ul><li><p>Nabla processes <strong>10 billion tokens/month</strong> with LLMs.</p></li><li><p>By the time you’ve read this posting, Nabla will have transcribed <strong>100 new hours of live audio</strong> and generated <strong>500 new clinical notes</strong>, saving <strong>125 hours of doctor time</strong>.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Our Stack</strong></p><ul><li><p>Python for everything ML-related</p></li><li><p>Pytorch and Transformers for training</p></li><li><p>vLLM for inference</p></li><li><p>Google Cloud &amp; Kubernetes for deployment</p></li><li><p>Calls to OpenAI GPT-4 when needed</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Where You’ll Be Based</strong></p><p>Our offices are based in <strong>Paris 3e (Arts &amp; Métiers)</strong>.<br/>Remote policy: 1-2 days a week (with some flexibility).
