Quality Systems Specialist

 

Objective

This position is responsible for the Company Quality Operating Systems and their compliance to all elements of the TS standard, including appropriate customer specific requirements.

 

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled internal audits of the TS16949 and customer specific requirements as they pertain to the manufacturing processes/ needs (customer visits) and the associated control plans.  Responsible for documenting and reporting findings to the plant teams.
• Schedule, track, develop and maintain the site Plants Layered Process Audit system and report non-conformances and LPA metrics out to the team. Auditor must audit the manufacturing process from sales and estimating through shipping.  Auditor must assist with corrective actions and manage the follow up process to ensure the corrective actions are completed and sustained.
• Support plant team in problem solving and corrective action follow-up activities from findings stemming from internal/ external audits.
• Provide pre-audit planning and assistance to each plant leading up to actual third party quality system audits for TS.
• Take on special assignments as required and determined by Annual Objectives.

 

Position Requirements

• Associate’s Degree Required
• Manufacturing experience-automotive a plus.
• Certified internal lead TS auditor.
• In depth knowledge of Quality Standards.
• Must have a proven ability to work in a team–oriented work environment and have proven communication skills (English required)
• 2-5 years’ experience in a quality role preferred
