We are looking for an experienced Program Director to develop and manage a wide range of nascent research programs at the FAIR Institute, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the discipline of cyber and operational risk management through education, standards, and collaboration. The FAIR Institute has 15,000 members in over 100 countries and has representation from 50% of the Fortune 1000. It has been recognized by SC Magazine as one of the three most influential industry organizations of the past 30 years.

Core Responsibilities
- Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic research objectives of the FAIR Institute in collaboration with the Institute’s leadership
- Plan the programs from start to completion, involving deadlines, milestones, and processes in coordination with the program chairs
- Manage the programs through the development of reference materials and standards documentation
- Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements
- Discover ways to enhance the efficiency and productivity of procedures and people
- Ensure program operations and activities adhere to internal standards
- Keep FAIR Institute management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations
- Recruit and develop future program and project managers as the Institute grows
- Some travel to conferences and events required
Essential Skills/ Qualification/ Experience
- Proven experience as program director or other managerial position
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent Knowledge of development of reference/best-practice/standards documentation
- Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and budgeting
- Passionate about advancing the risk management industry
- Working knowledge of MS Office and program management software (e.g. Basecamp, MS Project etc.)
- Business acumen with a strategic ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
- FAIR Certification is a big plus
