Job Description

Performs office work directly related to the property section and general business operations which are complex in nature and are not limited to the following; reviewing and/or preparing correspondence, handling information requests, interpreting administrative and operating policies and procedures, recommending improvements in administrative procedures as needed, supporting the coordination of office moves and cubicle modifications projects, receiving supply store requests from customers, and supporting the property section training program for inventory custodians and custodian delegates. Assists Property manager, property director and inventory agents with processing and maintaining property surplus paperwork and filing systems.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has an open position that is responsible for executing the following functions: 

  • Acts as the assistant to the director of the property section and provides administrative support to the property section.
  • Assisting the property manager, surplus property manager, and inventory agents with processing and maintaining Vocational Rehabilitation property surplus, Blind Services and  DOE'S paperwork and filing systems..
  • monitor the Property Section's inbox and process any surplus forms received in a timely manner.
