Job Purpose and Impact
As the Solution Owner, HR (Senior Director), you will be a key leader responsible for shaping the strategic direction, management, and successful delivery of our HR technology initiatives. In this role, you will lead and direct professionals and indirect staff for all digital technology solutions within the HR space. This includes HCM, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and Compensation and Total Rewards. Responsibility also includes owning the Technology Roadmap as well as integrations and solution architecture.
Key Accountabilities
- You will provide strategic leadership, development and talent management for direct reports and their organization, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also coordinate subordinate managers and supervisors in selecting staff to align with current and future needs of the organization.
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the entire HR technology portfolio both run and build.
- Prioritize projects based on business impact and strategic importance.
- Ensure the successful delivery of HR technology projects on time and within budget.
- Build business cases and 5-year cash flow models to support funding requests.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of 30 – 40 FTEs and third-party contractors.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture with proven ability to lead and motivate geographically dispersed teams.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with HR technology vendors to ensure optimal performance and value.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies that align with organizational goals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure cost effectiveness and KPIs in partnership with strategic sourcing.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security standards.
- Implement and enforce best practices for data security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in HR system management
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge of the application development life cycle and Agile application development
- Experience in HCM systems such as SAP Success Factors, UKG/Kronos, and Payroll Solutions
- Proven leadership experience managing large teams
- Strong strategic thinking and critical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
