Job Summary:
To clean and prepare tools for production process.

Job Responsibilities:
• Performs a variety of duties necessary to prepare tools and fixtures for the production process. 
Requires the ability to work from detailed instructions.
•  Obtains tools scheduled for tool preparation. Sands, scrapes, and washes tools to 
remove excess material. Applies appropriate parting agent and places in oven at 
appropriate temperature and time. May require additional coats of parting agent.
•  Observes condition of returned tools and makes minor repairs as necessary. Moves tools 
requiring tool repair to appropriate area.
• Maintain necessary records to show current status of tool fixture.
• Requires proper handling and storing of tools and ensuring timely movement to scheduled area 
upon completion.
• May perform de-bagging of parts as necessary.
• Responsible only for own work.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education:
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.

Experience:
No experience required.

Working Conditions:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions due to exposure to ketone, parting agent, etc.
