The Business Analyst Position
Sunnova is searching for a Business Analyst to provide substantial analytical and process support for Sunnova’s Sales Operations department. The Business Analyst works closely with a team of driven professionals to assist in operational tracking, reporting with the Connected Sales team, and helping shape improvement initiatives to improve dealer experience and operational efficiency. 

Business Analyst Responsibilities

• Prepares analysis and reporting for key activities and projects by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
• Compiles a weekly executive summary and key performance indicator reports
• Utilizes and analyzes data to make recommendations for changes to support and help drive critical business decisions and initiatives
• Creates process documentation and process flows for current and new processes
• Proactively identifies key areas for process improvement through data analysis and strategic thinking
• Performs a comprehensive review of reporting packages and documents detailed explanations for significant variances
• Track and identify gaps and opportunities for install coverage 
• Work with IT to prioritize needs and drive progress of improvements
• Supports the development, documentation, and implementation of new policies & procedures
• Produces custom reports and analysis
• Completes various additional tasks and projects as requested from management
• Completes other necessary responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 2+ years-experience in business analysis 
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including the use of lookups and pivot tables
• Advanced Salesforce knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in the utility or solar industry
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience creating dashboards and using analytics to measure business processes
• Experience in Salesforce and/or Tableau

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Excel analytical capability
• Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to assess metric outcomes on a relative basis and create sound recommendations based on accurate data evaluation
