Position 1 Title: Rental Federal Work Study Coordinator 

Staff Support: Executive Director 

Summary of Responsibilities: 

  • Manage technical assets, including sound, lighting, projection, stage equipment, and instruments. 
  • Set up and operate technical systems or coordinate trained operators for events and shows 
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and functionality of Martha Hamblin Hall and its systems. 
  • Serve as liaison for space rentals and in-house events, acting as Technical Director or technical support. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to enforce policies consistently. 
  • Physical ability to handle equipment and flexible availability, including nights and weekends. 
  • Experience in stage, sound, and lighting design implementation. 

 

Position 2 Title: Rental Federal Work Study Coordinator 

Description:

Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) is seeking a Rental Federal Work Study Coordinator to coordinate regular event rentals for CSMA’s Martha Hamblin Hall and class spaces. Federal Work Study support is needed in the scheduling of events, adherence to safety regulations, and communication with renters for events/performances at CSMA. 

Summary of Responsibilities: 

  • Schedule events in CSMA’s performance hall and class spaces ensuring a safe and positive client experience. 
  • Serve as liaison for space rentals and in-house events 
  • Establish and enforce protocols for the appropriate use of facilities by renters and event organizers. 
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to renters 
  • Ensure that facility renters are billed in a timely and consistent manner. 
  • Liaise with the Executive Director and Production Volunteer 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to enforce policies consistently. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Pay Rate: $17.00
