Job Summary

Job Description

  • Assist with the management of the Manufacturing Plant.

  • Ensure order fulfillment and production are completed.

  • Plan, lead and measure all daily processes. 

  • Oversee shift assignments and adherence to attendance and overtime limitations. 

  • Help ensure efficient utilization and proper return by assisting in the management all capital assigned to the Manufacturing Plant. 

  • Ensure material is received and moved correctly.

  • Review aspects of inventory management. 

  • Assist with contract negotiations for new business.

  • Provide timely responses to service failures and customer concerns.

  • Manage the Environmental Health and Safety programs of the facility including regulatory compliance, accident investigation and prevention, and employee engagement and training requirements.

  • Monitor activities of the work team.

  • Ensure housekeeping guidelines are followed. 

  • In cooperation with other Management, maintain the quality management system and ISO 9001 certification.

  • Provide support as needed for administrative processes including production data, Key Performance Indicators, shipment preparation and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 

  • Willing to travel occasionally for business purposes.

  • Able to oversee all work shifts including day and night shift plus occasional weekends

  • Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds with the ability to stand or walk for prolong periods of time. 

  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments (32F – 95F). 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters degree, Business Administration (MBA) desirable.

  • Bilingual (Spanish) desirable.
