Position Requirements

What Experience You'll Need:

• Must have proven experience with designing and architecting secure, multi-tier systems and network security solutions
• Must have hands-on experience and senior level subject matter expertise with various security technologies such as advanced firewall design, packet inspection, IDS/IPS, VPN, SIEM, on-premises and cloud network solutions and components.
• Experience developing and applying network security standards, policies, and procedures
• Must be able to communicate effectively to multiple audiences including firm-wide business units, senior leaders, and external vendors
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity or enterprise architecture roles

What Could Set You Apart:

• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, advanced network vendor certifications, ISC2 certifications, SANS certifications
• Working knowledge in other IT concepts like storage, application development, operating systems, identity authentication & authorization, PAM, SSO, encryption standards, and contract negotiations
• Technology background in the financial sector
• Understanding of various regulatory requirements and laws, including but not limited to: National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF), New York Codes Rules and Regulations (NYCRR)

Salary Information

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid
