Limited Tenure Medical Imaging Analyst

The Medical Imaging Analyst utilizes both commercially available and proprietary software. The Analyst is responsible for ensuring high standards of data collection, image reconstruction, and data analysis. The incumbent is the main person responsible for both routine and non-routine data processing and analysis of images in our research programs. The analyst will develop machine learning pipelines, writing code, and performing validation studies of artificial intelligence-based machine and deep learning algorithms.

 

A Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics, or other related field of study is required. Additional graduate study or course work in specialty area or M.S. or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge of basic mathematics and proficiency with computers are required. Direct experience in one of these areas is desired: Biomedical imaging, MRI imaging, image processing, database management, Python programming, git and source control management, data management, content management systems, the DICOM format, machine learning, deep learning, large language models, natural language processing, time series analysis, artificial intelligence, image segmentation, and image classification.
