JOB TITLE:
Library Aide, Coe Library Help Desk
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide enthusiastic service at the Coe Library Help Desk. This position starts Summer 2024 and continues during the academic year.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work at an active service desk with a variety of day, evening, and weekend shifts
- Provide enthusiastic service to library customers
- Check out library materials, study rooms, and equipment; make study room reservations; process returned items
- Help customers locate print and electronic resources; answer informational and directional questions
- Explain library policies and procedures
- Pull materials from the stacks and process for paging and lending services
- Assist in opening and closing the library
- Perform basic office duties
Pay rate increases to $12.35 per hour after the completion of first semester.
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to start work immediately and continue through academic year.
- Customer service experience or ability to positively interact with a wide variety of people
- Flexible schedule with ability to work a variety of day, evening, and weekend shifts

- Library work experience
