How will you make a difference?

As a Barber Spring PA group member, you will perform a variety of manual tasks to support operations. This includes lifting, moving, and transporting materials and equipment. You will also assist with basic maintenance and cleaning to keep the work environment organized and well-maintained. Adhering to safety protocols and working collaboratively with the team are essential. Your role as a general laborer helps maintain a clean, organized workspace to support the company's efficient functioning. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

What do we want to know about you?

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, or two years of related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of general plant practices, floor layout and procedures
  • Understands quality requirements, QAM, AAR and ASTM.
  • Possesses good communication skills  
  • Adheres to all safety regulations and practices and established company policies
  • Has the ability to learn quickly and apply new skills immediately

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Supervise staff, including hiring, employee communications, training, discipline, evaluation, and termination responsibilities.
  •  Assign, train and direct employees on jobs, developing an attitude of cooperation
  • Ensure the machine operators are properly trained and work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure and assist with coordination of daily shop activities
  • Manage inventory levels
  • Responsible for all Time and Attendance functions
  • Responsible for scheduling: vacations, overtime, etc.
  • Communicate rules of conduct
  • Responsible for contract administration
  • Key position in the implementation of the JIT/Demand Flow Manufacturing Techniques
  • Manage QPS functions in the manufacturing area
  • Issue records and reports as required
  • Monitor and maintain safety procedures and conditions to prevent accidents and provide a safe workplace
