About the Role
The Production Lead Teel Court is responsible for the coordination and leadership of the extrusion and injection operations at Teel Court with the production supervisors. These positions will be on the D and E, 12 hours shifts. The position will be instrumental in supporting the shift supervisors with employee scheduling, assignments, and administrative duties including work order management, ERP reporting, and Lean activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Serves as the primary backup to the shift supervisor.
• Assures operators on those lines are performing jobs correctly.
• Provides positive feedback to operators and constructive feedback when appropriate.
• Conducts Quality Audits effectively manages staffing to meet the needs of the area.
• Takes an active role in 5S and other Lean and Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Makes sure production packet is complete with the order, SPC charts, Work Instructions, Inspection Instructions, and other necessary documents.
• Updates documentation, as necessary.
• Acquires production data and report data through the ERP system each shift. Provide updates to operational KPI information and lead team meetings to review and discuss.
• Facilitates actions from team meetings.
• Manages the inventories of incoming product and finished product.
• Moves product in/out of work centers and make necessary inventory transactions in the Teel ERP/shop floor system.
• Assists and manages MRB area for NCM’s Quality Rounds
• Manages/Monitors schedules and raw material inventories.
• Communicates deviations from the production schedule.
• Facilitates communication to ensure equipment/facility repairs are done in a timely and safe manner.
• Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

What You Need:
• High School or General Education diploma required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure that the product made is to the proper specifications and packaged according to the customers’ requirements.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and direct the actions of others.
• Must coordinate the activities of employees assigned to lines so that efficiency is maximized, and scrap is minimized.
• Must have the ability to communicate with employees at all levels and departments.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Must be able to write simple correspondence and effectively use the computer.
• Must have a strong comprehension of basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals).
• Must be willing to take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Production Supervisor as needed.
