About the Role
We are currently searching for a new experienced regional people team member to take on the Senior People Advisor role for the EMEA operations currently covering 23 markets. Ideally, we seek someone located in Poland, though they can also be based anywhere in Europe.This role will also support our ambitions in the region for best practice around talent and people initiatives. This role will be part of the EMEA people team and will be a key business partner role to support the continued success of our multicultural and matrix team consisting of over 1,500 professionals with over 30 different nationalities.
Reporting directly to the EMEA Chief People Officer, this role will have the responsibility of ensuring our key people and talent objectives are met via effective talent and culture initiatives. This role will be responsible for providing both people and talent project delivery and generalist people team activities to foster a strong culture of innovation and collaboration across the markets and client teams. This position will serve as a cornerstone in the retention and development of our teams and will build key stakeholder relationships with other key business leads and other senior people leaders in the wider Burson and WPP network.
The Burson People Team
The Global Burson People Team partner and support the leadership, business practices and international client teams across four regions, EMEA, APAC, LATAM and North America.
In addition, to the global people team, there is regional and locally based Talent, Culture and DE&I professionals to deliver transformational people strategies and people operations across our markets. We fully integrate with our client teams across the business to truly understand the business challenges and opportunities. The People team are represented at every level of our business, including playing a key and influential role at senior leadership meetings.
Our remit is more than People operations and through our talent and development focus, we are working to optimise individual, team and agency performance. That includes how we structure our business, design our teams, operationalise our people strategy and optimise the relationship between our people and our business performance through the creative innovative communications work we do for our clients.
The Burson People team consists of specialist functions and people partners. We support our people at every level of the business and deliver everything from people strategy, leadership and people development, structural optimisation, performance analytics, talent acquisition, retention projects and learning and development initiatives. Helping to optimise business performance is at the heart of our people team vision.
For the right individual with the ability to deliver integrated people centric solutions to our business and directly to our clients, this opportunity will be a key part of our EMEA people team.
Your Role as A Burson Person
- Support and contribute to the EMEA People team partnering and service delivery to all employees.
- Be a senior people partner to our local market team leads within the region to deliver Burson’s culture, performance and people initiatives.
- Undertake Talent Review process for Leadership and key roles.
- Deliver a full-service people team remit supporting local client teams in the use of our talent programmes to attract, develop and retain our talent that sets us apart from our competitors.
- Help the senior practice leaders to build a deeper understanding of our performance through the provision of talent solutions and talent metrics.
- Support the creation of talent solutions, policies, initiatives, ways of working that help us to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent.

- Extensive People/Talent business partner background as will need to deliver/support strategic and tactical people, talent management and people development initiatives.
- International knowledge and especially experience of EMEA talent management practices and experience of working across different cultures.
