Job Overview
We are currently looking for two (2) Human Resources Interns to join our team in Holland, MI. Our internship program is a 12-week paid summer internship that starts in late-May and runs through mid-August. One internship will be primarily focused on Talent Attraction & Recruiting, while the other will be focused on our HR Shared Services Team. You will be part of a larger Intern Cohort with more than 40 other interns throughout the organization.
As a Human Resources Intern, you will:
Support the Human Resources team on a variety of projects and tasks designed to harness skills and gain experience as a human resources professional. Gain a well rounded understanding of the function of HR within a corporate organization. Responsibilities may include building interview guides, new hire orientation, updating position descriptions, shadowing payroll, event coordination, and much more.
Do you have these required qualifications?
- Part-Time or Full-time college students working towards a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications with at least Junior level status by the Fall of 2024.
- Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI without relocation assistance or housing assistance.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
- Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher
- Prior Haworth Experience
- Previous Employment Experience
- Extra-Curricular Activity Experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the position.
- Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
