LOCATION
The preferred location for this position is our Headquarters in College Station, Texas. Other CFC office locations may also be considered based on space availability.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience as deemed appropriate by Capital Farm Credit (CFC).
- Requires five (5) to seven (7) or more years of comprehensive experience in all aspects of loan administration, with a focus on commercial lending and a basic understanding of syndication/participation lending.
- Includes at least one (1) to three (3) years of management experience, overseeing teams or processes, and a track record of progressively responsible administrative positions with proven, high-quality performance.
- Successful completion of documented leadership training and development, with demonstrated skills and performance supporting leadership growth.
JOB SUMMARY
- Under the direction of the CommAg Admin Manager, is responsible for managing the daily performance of a team of CommAg loan administrators through oversight of loan origination, document review, transaction processing; collateral administration; content management; loan servicing; and covenant monitoring.
- Responsible for staff development through training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Evaluates performance of subordinate employees and completes in the annual salary administration process.
- Occasional travel to credit offices within assigned subregion to train, assist, and perform evaluations on staff.
- As a key market resource, collaborates with market management to support business development efforts ensuring loans are closed, and transactions processed, timely and accurately and in compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures while delivering thorough customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Leads, supervises, and coordinates loan administration, and customer service activities for a team of loan administrative staff for the CommAg region. Assists with the delegation of workload to staff to ensure efficient operations. Assists in the hiring process for new loan administration staff. Completes performance evaluation and assists with salary administration for direct reports.
- Leads, supports, and trains administrative staff to deliver excellent customer service on a consistent basis including effectively answering customer inquiries, resolving customer issues and concerns, answering questions related to product offerings and loan transactions, and facilitates communication between internal departments and external parties involved in the loan process.
- Maintains expert knowledge and consistently performs all duties associated with loan administration, loan accounting, credit servicing, content management, reporting and customer service processes.
- Possesses and maintains detailed knowledge of cooperative structure, patronage program, and CFC product offerings with the ability to discuss complex loan transactions and products with customers on a conversational basis. Identifies, and trains others to identify, cross sell
