The role

Are you passionate about managing complex IT projects and ensuring seamless software releases following Agile methodologies?
This position will work exclusively on ServiceNow tool, which is one of the most visible platforms in Nestle IT as it acts as the ERP for IT and hosts 40 applications across 17products and 6 IT streams.
In the past 12 months, 120 monthly, weekly or ad-hoc releases were delivered. We completed 324 sprints containing not less than 1400 stories!
This position will work mainly with the Nestlé ServiceNow Factory and offshore delivery teams but also with the Nestlé ServiceNow Applications Owners.
This position will bring deep expertise, knowledge & structure to the PMO team, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within the allocated budget.
Working with management executives, this position will regularly inspect and report the project’s progress.
This position is accountable for project escalation and finding solutions for problems that may arise.

 

What you’ll do 

• Lead a partner PMO team (<10 persons), providing guidance, establishing a structured framework, and resolving program-related challenges for smooth project execution.

• Coordinate and monitor multiple IT projects, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and are delivered within predefined timelines.

• Own the release management process, including scheduling, coordinating, improving, and managing releases across various environments, but also maintaining comprehensive release management policies and procedures to streamline the software deployment lifecycle

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project and release statuses, and producing process documentation and project reports for various stakeholders.

• Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts and resource needs with internal teams and external partners

Minimum qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years’ experience in IT implementation and delivery projects. A background in SaaS tool is preferred. Knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus.
• Proven experience in complex and international IT project management and software release management, preferably in a dynamic corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, release processes, and project management principles.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to virtually collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and guide them towards successful project outcomes.
• Solid problem-solving abilities, highly organized with a strategic mindset to identify and prioritize potential issues and devise effective solutions proactively.
• Comfortable interacting with clients and offshore team members on a daily basis providing status updates.
