Description

The Department of Medicine, Cardiology Division is seeking a full-time cardiologist to provide noninvasive cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging services in a busy academic medical center.

Duties will include outpatient consultation services, stress testing and noninvasive imaging services including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography studies, and MRI or Nuclear Cardiology interpretations as appropriate.  Activities will also include teaching and clinical research.  

Qualifications

M.D. Degree or equivalent

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease

Must obtain New York State medical license prior to employment start date

Must meet all credentialing requirements

Must meet all requirements for a faculty position at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Post offer drug screen and health assessment required

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
