We are currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer - Life & Annuities (FTE/Hybrid) to join our team in Addison, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) 

• Analyzing Requirements: 
• Should review Business requirements
• Design Test Strategy and the Testing Approach based on the scope of Testing.
• Identify the Automation criteria and tools.
• Designing and Developing Frameworks: 
• Should Architect and implement reusable, and scalable test automation framework
• Creating, Executing Scripts and Review: 
• Create automated test scripts
• Execute of Automated Tests
• Review of test execution results with stakeholders
• Defect Management: 
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track the defects in the defect management tool
• Work with the development team on their resolution.
• Map defects with Tests
• Collaboration and Communication: 
• Work closely with development team, product managers, and other stakeholders and track the test deliverables
• Continuous Improvement and innovation: 
• Continuously improving testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Constantly explore on innovative ideas
• Implement Gen AI capabilities
• Documentation and Reporting: 
• Maintain detailed documentation of test strategy, test plan, test cases
• Generate comprehensive test reports and regular reviews with stakeholders 

 

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Application Testing (UI/API).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Life and Annuities Insurance Domain including Vantage Testing experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of Automation Testing experience and SQL knowledge.

 

Travel:  Preferred location is Austin - Texas or Dallas - Texas or Montpelier - Vermont or Halifax - CA. 

Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

 

Nice to Have; (But not a must)

• Testing Project Experience
• LOMA Certification
• Tosca Automation Testing experience
