The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation on <strong>mathematics </strong>and experience in <strong>C# development</strong>.</p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Establish coding principles in C# for runtime efficiency and technical scalability.</li><li>Maintain and refactor the Data Science .NET model repository.</li><li>Create, populate and maintain SQL databases. </li><li>Design and implement services as microservices that will be part of a bigger application stack. </li><li>Ability to understand the underlying maths of the pricing models.</li><li>Report to the Director of Data Science on workflow and share findings with the Data Science team.</li><li>Collaborate closely with other Engineering teams.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong><u>Essential</u></strong></p><ul><li>A postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or other quantitative field.</li><li>3+ years of working as a Software Engineer with extensive experience in C#.</li><li>Experience with CRUD actions on various data sources (SQL, NO-SQL, streaming or data-lake).</li><li>Be knowledgeable on RESTful APIs and Kafka topics to consume and produce data from .NET microservices.</li><li>Have experience with automated build pipelines for .NET.</li><li>Experience with version control platforms (e.g. GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket etc.).</li></ul><p><strong><u>Desirable</u></strong></p><ul><li>Good grasp of various modelling techniques (e.g. Probability Distributions, GLMs, Monte Carlo Simulations, Time-Series Analysis etc.)</li><li>Basic Python skills (e.g. Numpy, Pandas, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, Keras, PyTorch SciPy etc.).</li><li>Experience with Jira and Confluence.</li><li>A good understanding of betting concepts and markets.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Personal</u></strong></p><ul><li>Fluent in English (written and spoken).</li><li>You must have a strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills.</li><li>You must be self-motivated, a team-player and a creative thinker.</li></ul><p><strong>Is this the role for you?
