Based in NYC, our results-driven environment drives us to build better products, grow faster and empower everyone on our team to have an impact on our business and mission to improve financial outcomes.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p> <p>Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this hybrid role is responsible for the accurate end-to-end processing of our corporate payroll and the day-to-day administration of our private company equity programs. The ideal candidate ensures flawless execution across payroll cycles, equity grants, option exercises, and regulatory compliance, while serving as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <p>Payroll Administration (60%)</p> <ul> <li>Process accurate, timely bi-weekly/semi-monthly payrolls for 185+ employees using payroll systems and HRIS platforms.</li> <li>Review, validate, and approve timecards, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.</li> <li>Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and process status changes in the payroll system.</li> <li>Reconcile payroll sub-ledgers to the general ledger and prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll statements.</li> <li>Ensure strict compliance with federal, state (New York), and local tax withholding laws and labor regulations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Administer wage garnishments, tax levies, and support annual financial and internal audits.</li> </ul> <p>Stock Plan Administration (40%)</p> <ul> <li>Administer the company's equity compensation plans (e.g., Stock Options, RSUs) using private equity management software.</li> <li>Process equity transactions meticulously, including option exercises, cancellations, and restricted stock vesting.</li> <li>Track and manage vesting schedules and grant criteria, ensuring perfect data integrity.</li> <li>Partner with the Legal, Finance, and HR teams to support regulatory compliance and ensure seamless reporting for financial audits.</li> <li>Act as the internal subject matter expert, assisting employees with stock plan questions, account navigation, and exercise processes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>ABOUT YOU&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li> <li>3+ years of progressive, hands-on experience handling both payroll processing and equity admini
