Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates operating health centers across the U.S. Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF)seek a passionate, high energy and dynamic Senior Director, Organizational Readiness that will lead and manage the organizational readiness, change management, process improvement and communications to support the People, Culture & Equity (PC&E) Division in delivering support and service to PPFA. This job reports to the Chief People, Culture & Equity Officer for PPFA. The PC&E Division is responsible for developing the talent strategy and identifying the systems and processes that create the culture of belonging and inclusion that attracts, retains and develops top talent and leaders.
Purpose:
The Senior Director, Organizational Readiness, will be responsible for creating and designing the framework and processes that will assess and track the PC&E objectives and milestone achievements. The role will also be responsible for developing PC&E communications strategy that enhances PPFA’s Employee Value Proposition and partners with PPFA’s internal communications infrastructure to ensure PC&E brand essence is maintained. This role will sit on the PC&E Leadership Team and will facilitate the leadership team meetings. This role will work closely with senior staff across PPFA in order to ensure that PC&E deliverables are understood and achieved. Delivery:
Develop the change management approach that PC&E will implement to ensure the division adapts to new roles, processes and systems.●Provide administrative oversight and leadership for communications that originate in PC&E. ●Oversee the portfolio of projects undertaken by the PC&E workstreams and identify the metrics to assess the team’s performance●Expand the reach, influence, and partnership of the PC&E workstreams by analyzing gaps, identifying opportunities and existing resources, creating new partnerships, and capturing critical aspects related to ensuring optimal design and delivery●Develop plans for project, program, and resource needs to create conditions for optimal and successful delivery of programming to support the mission of the organization●Originate PC&E’s long-term goals in alignment with organization-wide strategic goals.

●Networking with a range of stakeholders, developing strategies and objectives for including benchmark goals and plans to achieve those goals. ●Demonstrate a keen ability to collaborate and build relationships with leaders across divisions and other key stakeholders, including affiliate leaders.●Develop ambitious, achievable communications plans to lead the team in ●Exemplify exceptional judgment and ability to handle rapid-response scenarios calmly under pressure.●Serve as a resource and representative for the [applicable team] to the [larger internal dept/division] and [relevant external stakeholders] Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
●Bachelor’s degree required.●A minimum of 10 years of related experience in change management, process improvement and communications.●Demonstrated success by obtaining roles of increasing responsibility during career.●Proven track record of ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and minimum timeline (at least 5-7 years) at the staff, board, and/or affiliate levels with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a highly-matrixed environment.●4 years of management experience, seeing to direct reports’ their growth and success ●Excellent ability to conceive, draft, proofread and edit written materials quickly, including demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex, t
