As a Manufacturing Engineer II at the Milwaukee manufacturing facility, you will support the integration of new product lines into the Milwaukee facility’s process offerings.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling
- Evaluate new product designs for integration feasibility
- Collaborate with development teams to coordinate research / testing at the Milwaukee facility
- Complete design transfer and integrate new product lines into the Milwaukee facility’s process offerings
- Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance
- Develops BOM’s / Routes / Costing for new product introductions
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
- Experience working in an active Manufacturing environment
- Experience working with (NPI) New Product Introduction
- Experience with change management and process implementation in manufacturing
- Experience with equipment verification and validation (V&V), including design validation activities
- Direct experience in operational qualification (OQ) and/or performance qualification (PQ) activities as part of equipment or process validation
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling with tools like SolidWorks, including fixture or component design
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborative teamworking skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Creative, self-motivated, team player
- Familiar with quality control and regulatory processes
- Experience in design/manufacture of medical devices
- Knowledge in various manufacturing processes as they apply to the medical device designs
