Major Responsibilities for Information Center Receptionist:
- Provide general information about admissions, registration, financial aid, orientation, assessment, and business support.
- Respond and follow up to student leads, opportunities, inquiries and questions through email and utilizing Ivy Connect.
- Collect and assist with processing information from potential students who inquire about the college and assist with understanding of enrollment and application steps.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to supervisor and Vice-Chancellor as needed.
- Greet visitors and students, clarify and answer general questions, and/or enter student into queuing system to be seen by an SSP and/or Advisor.
- Distribute general college and Express Enrollment Center information
- Function effectively in a team environment.
- Maintain working knowledge of express enrollment and procedures of student affairs department.

Major Responsibilities for Record Clerk:
- Provide assistance to students and perform records and registration duties and maintain student files.
- Collaborate with Student Records Hub.
- Provide in depth information about records and general express enrollment procedures.
- Escalate complex issues and questions to appropriate student affairs department and make appropriate referral to that department or individual.
- Assist with coordination of graduation and perform duties associated with graduation processing and documentation.
- Collect data to determine if students have completed a credential or certificate.
- Counsel and assist students with transcripts and online registration process.
- Process registration forms completed by Advisors.
- Assist students with course drops and withdrawals, and provide information regarding choices and potential financial consequences.
- Assist with entering and monitoring of missing grades and working with Program Chair to resolve an issue with grades.
- Completing drop/adds and course overrides as needed from faculty and advisors.
- “Mine” data for students who have completed or near completion of a credential or certificate
- Answer questions and assist students with DARS/u.achieve and degree audit reports.
- Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent experience required. Associate degree preferred.
- Keyboarding skills and at least one year of related office experience. Banner and student records database experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, databases and experience with phone system
- Ability to operate copier and other office related equipment.
- Willingness and ability to provide Tier 1 level student support through use of various software applications (queuing, student, financial).
- Strong communication, customer service, positive attitude and organizational skills
- Demonstrate evidence of ability to successfully work in a team environment.
