Responsibilities :
-
Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using Cloudbees/Jenkins, Artifactory, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Bitbucket.

Lead software configuration management (SCM) for software lifecycle, from development to production.
-
Manage software development and release cycles, ensuring build consistency and reliability.
-
Provide technical leadership and training on CM processes.
-
Develop automated tests using tools like Ansible, Selenium, JMeter, and Junit.
-
Design and deploy software (Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL).
-
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; identify and mitigate risks.
Requirements
Must Haves:
-
Software engineering background (more “Dev” than “Ops”).
-
Experience with application automation on Linux (Ansible, RHEL) and AWS.
-
Proficiency in Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Bitbucket.
-
Experience in software integration (JSON, REST, SOAP, SQL).
-
Strong Git knowledge and at least 7 years of DevOps experience.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.
-
Active DoD Secret clearance.
-
Must obtain Security+ certification within 14 days.
-
Master-level DevOps experience (design, implementation, CI/CD pipelines).
-
Experience with automated testing, SCM, and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
-
Full software lifecycle automation experience.
Preferred:
-
DoD/ DISA experience.
-
Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence).
-
Static code analysis and security scans experience.
-
Remote team collaboration and Agile experience.
Location: Ft. Meade, MD ( Opportunity for situational telework )
Commute: Candidates must be within commuting distance to Ft. Meade, MD for on-site support
