MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Network Administrator to join our team in Key West, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The Senior Network Administrator leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructure across multiple security domains, including classified networks, ensuring high availability and robust security
• They possess expert-level knowledge of advanced networking protocols, security best practices, and infrastructure technologies
• They manage complex network infrastructure devices, implement and enforce network security policies, configure advanced access control lists (ACL), and leverage software-defined networking (SDN) solutions
• They conduct advanced system troubleshooting, implement comprehensive backup and recovery strategies, and ensure the high availability and resilience of critical network services
• They lead the development and maintenance of detailed network documentation, provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to Junior and Mid-Level Administrators, and conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies
• They contribute to the development and delivery of specialized network security training and awareness programs, promoting a culture of security awareness
• The Senior Network Administrator provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS in field necessary to assume Senior Network Administrator duties or 4 years of additional experiene in lieu of a degree
• 9+ years of experience 5+ years of position-specific relevant experience.
• Deep understanding of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Specialized knowledge in areas like network security, cloud computing, network automation, or specific protocols may be required.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or other vendor-specific certifications.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a network engineering, cybersecurity, or information systems, or a related field. Experience supporting DoD programs and with cloud-based technologies.
