Senior Software Engineer

<h3>Role</h3> <p><span>We’re opening a </span><span>Senior Software Engineer</span><span> position in our Growth Team, a cross-functional group focused on accelerating Product-Led Growth. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can build fast, think product-first, and thrive in an experimental environment.</span></p><p><span>You’ll work closely with engineering, marketing and product, driving growth-focused initiatives directly inside the product experience. Expect rapid iteration, close collaboration, and ownership of experiments end-to-end.</span></p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul><li><p><span>Enable fast experimentation that supports evidence guided decisions. Implement user-facing experiments when needed, ensuring high-quality executions that validate hypotheses quickly.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Work directly with product and engineering teams and services across the full platform to design and build scalable product growth features.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Contribute to and influence architecture.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Own the full lifecycle of growth initiatives: ideation, technical design, implementation, rollout, instrumentation, and iteration based on results.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Work with product and marketing team members to shape experiments, ensuring technical feasibility and efficient execution.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Maintain strong engineering standards across performance, reliability, and code quality while operating in a fast-moving environment.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Improve observability, analytics, and experimentation frameworks to speed up learning cycles.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Share knowledge acro<span>ss the team and contribute to a culture of rapid learning and continuous improvement.</span><span><br/></span></span></p></li></ul> <h3>Your profile</h3> <ul><li><p><span>8+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience building and delivering large-scale, high-performance distributed systems. </span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in growth engineering, product engineering, marketplace platforms, or PLG-focused teams is a plus.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in Python and its ecosystem. </span><span>Frontend skills are a strong advantage.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Comfortable with DevOps practices, cloud environments (ideally AWS), and monitoring tools, you own your code in production.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Deep understanding of performance, reliability, data integrity, and scalable system design.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Pragmatic, hypothesis-driven, and comfortable making tradeoffs to move fast while preserving technical quality.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>Enjoys collaborating with non-engineering partners and incorporating customer and business context into technical decisions.</span><span><br/><br/></span></p></li><li><p><span>High ownership mindset with a bias toward action and measurable impact.</span></p></li></ul> <h3>Why us?</h3> <p>Here at Keelvar, we are proud to be a remote-first organisation and we offer some great perks.<br/><ul><li>Competitive salary with a Series B backed, fast growing organisation</li><li>25 days holidays increasing to 26 after 3 years and increasing again to 27 after 5 years.
