Job Description

Production Process Manager (CE)

This position keeps all the cross-organizational production gears working in harmony by managing and maintaining critical business processes for all online learning programs at BYU Continuing Education (CE). This includes having a deep understanding of CE’s production processes to coordinate the resourcing and scheduling of all course packaging to meet expected deadlines, document processes to ensure stability, and mitigate risks proactively based on feedback and project management best practices. This position also manages and supports the responsibilities of the Quality Assurance and Web Accessibility teams.

What you’ll do in this position:

  • Collaborate across teams to define and update processes, including triggering tasks, sequences, dependencies, responsible parties, completion events, and associated information tracking.
  • Project manage numerous, complex projects for multiple products.
  • Lead weekly priority meetings for the High School and Independent Study University products, recording and following up on action items.
  • Track essential key performance indicators (KPIs) related to course production, including timelines and budgets.
  • Support the Continuous Quality Improvement Manager and their QA and Corrections team.
  • Support the Web Accessibility Specialist and their Web Accessibility Assistant team.

What qualifies you for this role:

Required

  • A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of full-time project management experience, and personnel supervision experience
  • OR formal specialized project management training and 5 years of full-time project management experience and personnel supervision experience.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree
  • 5 years of direct full-time project management experience or formal specialized project management training and personnel supervision experience
  • OR 8 years of direct and full-time project management experience and personnel supervision experience.
  • Regardless of degree and work experience, a PMI certification is highly preferred

Pay Grade: 54

Typical Starting Pay: $79,500.00 to $103,500.00
