Position Overview

Serves as the Contract Support Section Manager for an assigned geographical office operation.  Plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews the activities of staff engaged in a geographical office operation.  Manages and analyzes the requirements and plans for the efficacious utilization of the Contract Support Section resources, i.e., personnel, budget, space, equipment, supplies and vehicles.  Analyzes results from contract support meeting with funded providers and ensures timely completion of correction action as it relates to specified contract conditions.  Makes recommendations to management regarding contract amendments or changes in conditions and terms based upon contract support staff findings.  Processes and responds to public inquiries regarding substance use treatment for indigent clients, including both telephone and written inquiries, drafts correspondence for the Administrator’s signature and reviews staff correspondence and monitors reports.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Serves as the Contract Support Section Manager for an assigned geographical office operation.
  2. Serves as a working supervisor.
  3. Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates annual activities of the Contract Support Section.
  4. Processes and responds to public inquiries regarding substance use treatment for indigent clients, including both telephone and written inquiries, drafts correspondence for the Administrator’s signature and reviews staff correspondence and monitors reports.
  5. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college.
  2. Requires three (3) years progressively responsible administrative experience in a health or human services organization.

 

Specialized Skill(s)

  1. Of the three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience, requires one (1) year of experience in contract compliance activities or substance use delivery and knowledge of contract and budget requirements as well as applicable rules and regulations such as Administrative Rule 2060 and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. One (1) year of experience in contract compliance activities or substance use delivery and knowledge of contract and budget requirements as well as applicable rules and regulations such as Administrative Rule 2060 and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria.
  2. Three (3) years of professional experience utilizing strong program management skills and strong writing and communication skills for a public or private organization.
  3. Three (3) years of professional experience Requires developing and writing professional reports, developing group work plans, and leading and completing work team projects with staff members.
  4. Three (3) years of professional experience working with programs and service
