Normal Minimum Requirements

  • Must currently be or have been a Power Production Specialist I at TEP or three (3) years equivalent operating and maintenance experience in a power production environment, or closely related field. 
  • Successful completion of the identified qualification process up to and including the PeopleSoft Computer Based Training as well as courses associated with this position and all related testing
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Must possess a valid up-to-date driver’s license

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations

  • Must have physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop and lift for extended periods of time

  • Shift work required

There will be a three-part testing procedure required for this position. The first step is a timed Edison Electric Institute (EEI) aptitude test battery, or proof of full completion of the EEI testing, followed by a written technical skills test and a technical/behavioral based interview. Each step of the process must be passed in order to progress to the next step.
