Roka Security, LLC is looking for an Technical Operations Instructor
Roka Security is looking for qualified candidates for a Technical Operations instructor and curriculum developer to join our growing team of highly regarded Technical Operations training staff.

Duties Include:
- Delivery of a custom CANO training program to United States Government (USG) customers; including both lectures and interactive, hands-on lab lessons and exercises
- Development of custom training as well delivery of current Roka Security material
- Using your experience, provide context and examples to mentor and guide the next generation of tactical and strategic Cyber Operators
- Collaborate with the customer to target relevant, cutting-edge tactics and technology for inclusion in future iterations of the course material
- Work with the Roka Security team to develop and deliver other advanced technical operations courses
- Assist customer with pre-deployment training related to operational requirements
Requirements
General Requirements:
- Position is located near Ft. Meade, MD
- Travel up to eight (8) weeks may be required
- Ability to maintain a Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable delivering course material as a solo instructor
Basic Technical Requirements:
- 4+ years of Journeyman level experience with any or all of the following:
- Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO)
- Close Access Network Operations (CANO)
- Penetration Testing
- Red Team Operations
- Basic familiarity with IP traffic redirection and obfuscation
- Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of application, network, infrastructure, and data security
- Experience with Windows and Linux command line interfaces
- Experience with routers, firewalls, and VPN tunneling technologies
- Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies
- Experience with scripting and coding, such as Python or bash
- Basic familiarity with digital forensics and anti-forensics techniques
Preferred Technical Requirements:
- 4+ years as an Offensive Cyber Operations Expert
- 3+ years as a cyber curriculum developer and/or instructor
- Graduate of a USG offensive cyber operations course
- Advanced knowledge of networking systems and security software
- Scripting capabilities for creating custom scripts to identify/exploit vulnerabilities
- OSCP, GPEN, CPT, or equivalent pen testing certification
- RHCSA, LPIC-3, or equivalent Linux certification
- Previous experience within the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or Federal Bureau of Investigation
