Hourly Pooled Buchanan Center Marketing Intern

JOB TITLE:   

Buchanan Center Marketing Intern

JOB PURPOSE:   

This position will allow for open communication from the University and its department, allow for a better connection to our alumni base, and encourage community & student participation in various events, festivals, and intensives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Job duties may include

• Manage Social Media Accounts
• Post posters in desirable areas 
• Create innovative social media designs
• Visit classes and rehearsals to gather promotional materials
• Increase following on various platforms
• Assist in creating a marketing plan
• Other duties as assigned.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: 

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

High school degree, marketing experience, interest in the arts, proven experience in social media promotion

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Interpersonal effective communication
• Ability to learn and adapt to trends on social media
• Experience in promoting an institution or self on various platforms
