This Opportunity:

  • Managing and providing technical support on stormwater engineering projects involving linear projects with Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI), transportation drainage, stormwater infrastructure analysis, design, and construction implementation.
  • Planning, developing, coordinating, and directing multiple projects and project teams for a variety of clients.
  • Presenting proposals to clients, interviewing for projects, and selecting project teams.
  • Developing and maintaining close relationships with clients throughout the development of projects and after completion.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota or the ability of obtaining within six months
  • Eight or more years of related engineering experience
  • Previous project experience in water resources including hydrologic studies, storm sewer systems, linear projects, Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI), and multi-disciplinary stormwater projects.
  • Skilled in water resources and water resources management and the design of conveyance systems.
  • Ability to successfully lead multi-disciplined design team.
  • Ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications
  • Good team building and communication skills
  • A desire and ability to interact with clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Reside in Minnesota with a strong preference of the Twin Cities metro area
  • Previous experience in proposal and client management, proven history in leading and winning water resources related proposals.
  • Fifteen or more years of related engineering experience
  • Established relationships with clients or potential clients
