Staff Office Administrator

ARA is seeking an experienced office administrator to work full-time for our Engineering Science Division in Panama City, FL. Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be considered, for the right candidate.
What you will do as a staff office administrator:
- As part of the administrative support team reporting to the division administrator, help ensure the division functions efficiently and effectively.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals and technical reports, including formatting and adherence to submittal instructions. May also serve as a Trusted Cost Proposal Expert (TCPE).
- Serve as the HR administrator for the division, with responsibilities throughout the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to:
- Work with hiring managers to create and manage job postings.
- Conduct new hire onboarding and process employee separations.
- Respond to HR-related questions and concerns from employees.
- Coordinate training for new and existing employees.
- Support general office administrative functions, including reception, correspondence, coordinating meetings and office morale functions, ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, and the like.
Staff office administrator requirements:
- Bachelors or better in Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible office administration experience, including experience with proposal preparation and HR support functions.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, as well as software systems for HR, time reporting, enterprise resource planning (ERP), etc.
- Detail oriented, well organized, and able to multi-task in a busy office environment.
- Willing to learn new tasks and take initiative.
- General office skills such as copying, scanning, filing, shipping, email, and multi-line telephone.
