Market Director, Wood Industry

¨ Define our go-to-market Strategy for the Forestry Market

¨ Increase revenue within the designated vertical.

¨ Develop a quoting pipeline based on knowledge and experience within forestry.  

¨ Development of a plan to increase our marketing presence within the Wood industry.  

¨ Where necessary support marketing efforts on print, web, and video content. 

¨ Create, maintain, and report pertinent metrics to measure the health of the industry vertical. 

¨ Utilize a metrics-based management style to develop and maintain a culture of accountability. 

¨ Develop the technical skills to assist the regional sales teams. 

¨ Provide technical support and offer expertise to assist current customers and teammates. 

¨ Represent GK at industry trade shows. 

¨ Take a proactive approach with the company, to ensure projects receive complete and accurate information leading to timely quotes, project execution, and successful commissioning of GK equipment. 

¨ Participate in bi-monthly North American Team leadership meetings coming prepared with statistical and strategic updates. 

¨ Execute clear directives as required by upper management, including, but not limited to, case studies, execution of Salesforce leads/contacts follow-ups, regular reviews, and GKWay engagement.

¨ Fully support the Company’s ISO objectives, policies, procedures, and the GKWay program.

¨ Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

¨ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. 

¨ Ability to travel as needed. 

¨ Minimum of five (5) years of capital industrial equipment work experience.

¨ Proven management skills.

¨ Working knowledge of computer-aided design systems, i.e.: Inventor & Auto CAD.

¨ Experience with preparing and executing strategic plans.

¨ Industry knowledge related to the wood industry and capital equipment sales
