Project Cost Controller

We are currently looking for a Project Cost Controller to join our Operations & Control team as part of our M Power Projects Division in our Athens Offices, specifically for the construction of the power plant in Adamow, Poland.

By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in monitoring the cost of a project in execution phase, playing a key role in achieving an on-budget project

Your role will encompass:

• Improve project process by developing and implementing cost structure, manage job-specific code of accounts for WBS approvals
• Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded
• Follow up the Project’s payment milestones
• Prepare monthly write-ups reports for the cost performance and EAC (estimate at completion) forecast
• Analyze purchase order commitment/engineering/construction etc. to calculate accruals
• Create and execute ‘internal controls’ and offer ‘Internal Auditor’ services to assure control of budget
• Maintain current and forecasted Cash Flow data when compared to projected Cash Flow

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or finance
• 2-3 years in a similar position
• Professional certification in project management
• will be considered an asset
• Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite (MS Project/Primavera knowledge will be considered an asset)
