Are you ready to set the standard for Premium apparel?

Main purpose of the Staff Accountant role:

This is a full time role for a candidate who will reconcile various General Ledger accounts, prepare journal entries for the month-end close, and take part in key projects for the Company.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Participate in all activities related to full-cycle accounting, including creating journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and researching and resolving item discrepancies
• • Perform any compliance tasks required relating to taxes, filings, business licenses, etc.
• • Reconcile cash accounts to bank statements
• • Reconciliation of employee expense reports and company credit card accounts
• • Analyze complex transactions to identify and correct inaccuracies
• • Perform monthly accrual analyses and comply with internal controls
• • Maintain and work with tight monthly reporting deadlines
• • Provide support to finance management and other internal customers as needs arise, including ad-hoc analysis and special projects

Required Competencies:

Minimum qualifications: 

• • 3+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
• • Strong time management, analytical and communication skills
• • Limited understanding of foreign currency transactions
• • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, including pivot tables
• • Understanding and ability to meet tight month-end deadlines
• • Experience recording journal entries
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
• • Strong time management, analytical and communication skills
• • Understanding of foreign currency transactions
• • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• • Strong written and oral communication skills
• • Understanding and ability to meet tight month-end deadlines
• • Microsoft Great Plains experience is not required, but preferred
