Senior Accountant Group Accounting (m/f/d)

<p> </p> <p><b>Your area of ​​responsibility:</b><br/>     </p> <ul> <li>Preparation of consolidated financial statements for EMEA sub-group at month-end and year-end (including communication to financial auditors) according to IFRS (German GAAP “HGB”)</li> <li>Perform analytical reviews of consolidated financial statements which include P&amp;L statement, Balance sheet, and trend analysis (including communication with single entities)</li> <li>Preparation of monthly group reporting for EMEA sub-group</li> <li>Responsibility for monthly intercompany reconciliation within EMEA and with Goodbaby Group</li> <li>Close communication and cooperation with Group Finance in regards to compliance with Accounting standards and application in entities of EMEA sub-group</li> <li>Perform Impairment Tests for Goodwill (IFRS) and carrying amounts for Financial investments (German GAAP “HGB”)</li> <li>Improvement of Accounting processes and implementation of financial controls</li> <li>Support in proper accounting for Mergers &amp; Acquisitions in EMEA sub-group</li> <li>Evaluation and optimization of existing processes/workflows and tools with a focus on further digitalization and automation of respective processes and their integration into the existing SAP HANA IT landscape</li> </ul> <p><br/> <b>Your qualifications:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>A completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field</li> <li>At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and group accounting, ideally in an international environment</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the German Commercial Code (HGB)</li> <li>Experience in conducting analytical reviews of consolidated financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and trend analysis</li> <li>Experience in preparing monthly reports for corporate structures, preferably for EMEA regions</li> <li>Strong communication skills to interact effectively with financial auditors, individual entities, and the group finance department</li> <li>Experience in conducting impairment tests for goodwill under IFRS and for financial investments under HGB</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in improving accounting processes and implementing financial controls</li> <li>Experience with SAP HANA in financial reporting and management</li> <li>Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken</li> </ul> <p> </p>
