Sr. Logistics TMS Administrator

Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for collecting customer and user requirements and developing solutions with PMO, IT and the business; including configuration, administration, and support for logistics SAAS systems.

Essential Functions

• Perform SaaS system administration and configurations on a routine basis for existing and new customer implementations
• Be able to present solutions to all levels of customer organizations including executive leadership
• Provide business area and leadership feedback by measuring the success of delivery and growth initiatives
• Coordinate with subject matter experts (SME) to obtain specific knowledge or expertise to address technical issues
• Lead and participate in development of proposals and associated subject matter, and participate in requirement reviews
• Respond to technical questions and research requests from customers and users
• Perform business case analysis to support decision making process
• Build and maintain relationships across all business units to ensure alignment with program capture, program execution, and other line of business services
• Understand impact of internal decisions on customer & vendor relationships & plans accordingly
• Build & maintain relationships with key vendor partners to incorporate technology & capability Sector growth pipelines
• Actively identify, monitor, and incorporate industry & vendor technologies and solution components to maximize customer value
• Communicate efficiently with internal IT services, PMO and outside vendors
• Provide documentation and workflows for implemented solutions
• Ensure quality of solution is being achieved when transitioning to operations team to execute
• Mentor Logistics Solutions associates providing training and best practices as needed
• Assist Carrier Management team with Contracts and rating optimization
• Demo system solution, provide process documentation and perform train the trainer activities when necessary
• Provide presales consultative support when necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or related field or commensurate experience
• 8 or more years’ experience in logistics software management with 3PL or TMS Software companies in multi mode transportation solutions, transportation optimization or other Supply chain software
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Background working with SaaS based systems including TMS, Inventory and Fuel Management, visibility and business intelligence applications preferred
• MercuryGate DRS certification a plus (or intention to get certified)
