Job Description:

GDIT has an opportunity for a Logistics Analyst onsite at Ft. Cavazos, TX. Must have a current and active Secret clearance. Must have GCSS-Army experience.

Requirements:

·        Prepare items for shipment which include duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products to support FSRs in the field that are servicing incident tickets submitted by the end user.

·        Strategically plan and manage logistics movements and warehouse.

·        Direct, optimize and coordinate full order life cycle of equipment supporting AIE system.

·        Keep track of quality, quantity of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

·        Arrange warehouse, catalog goods.

·        May assist with all processes dealing with inventory procedures to include; equipment inventory layout, component list inventories, sub hand receipts and shortage annex procedures and relocation of equipment and materials.

·        Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

·        Primarily POC for Customer helpdesk support. Will update support tickets and monitor email and phone for new tickets requested by customers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        AA/AS, 5+ years experience

·        Secret Clearance Required

·        GCSS Army Experience

·        Helpdesk Ticket handling experience desired

·        Ability to lift 40lbs, operate a forklift, sit or stand for 8 hours and support working outside in non-airconditioned work areas.

The likely salary range for this position is $51,000 - $69,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
