Description
The Distribution Lead Contract Compliance role provides senior-level oversight of large-scale distribution construction programs.
This role delivers technical leadership, contractor oversight, and field coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead field oversight for complex distribution construction projects.
- Coordinate contractor activities across multiple crews and work locations.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project execution including cost, schedule, and construction quality.
- Resolve technical issues and schedule risks.
- Mentor Contract Compliance I and II personnel.
- Interface with project managers, contractors, and utility leadership.
- Evaluate contractor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of electric distribution construction and maintenance practices.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities for field oversight personnel.
- Strong project coordination and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and concurrent projects.
- Excellent stakeholder communication including leadership and external partners.
- Ability to assess risk and make strategic field decisions impacting cost, schedule, and safety.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years construction management experience OR Associate degree plus 7 years construction management experience OR
- High school diploma with 9 years utility construction experience including leadership experience. Valid driver's license.
