About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Manager for the Specialized Services and Invoicing production team.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage the activities of a Specialized Services and Invoicing production team.
  • Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Lending Operations functional area
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines
  • Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies
  • Make credit decisions and resolve issues regarding performance of a business unit or functional area to ensure business objectives are met
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functional areas with low to moderate complexity, and with accountability for special portfolio segments requiring focused management
  • Collaborate and consult with Lending Operations peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers accountable for providing quality customer service to internal or external customers
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of Leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven production environment
  • Proven leadership and people management experience in relationship management or operational functions
  • Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with equipment/vendor finance products and/or Commercial Banking products
  • Experience managing projects for billing resources
  • Ability to build strong relationships with our external clients
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively across business, technology, and operational teams at varying levels in the organization
  • Ability to prepare and present senior level communications
  • Proven track record in driving process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives
  • Experience partnering with IT / systems engineers on enhancements or updates to department systems
  • Advanced MS Office experience including working with Excel for data loading, computation for invoicing and creating pivot tables
  • Experience with – IMS (Invoice Management System), InfoLease or LeaseConnect.
  • Experience with Tableau or PowerBI
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; advanced degree


Job Expectations:

  • Willingness to work on-site at the stated location on the job opening
  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule – 3 days in office / 2 days remote
