Lockheed Martin space is seeking a Full-Time highly skilled Designer to join our Mechanical Ground Packaging team, where you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and documenting ground packaging of electronic and mechanical assemblies. As a key member of our team, you will work with more senior designers, from concept to completion, including configuration control, purchasing, and documentation. Basic Qualifications

-Associates Degree in a related field, technical certifications or related experience.
-Proficiency in CAD software (CREO, Solidworks, Zuken)
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
-Familiarity with manufacturing processes
-Knowledge of GD&T

Desired skills

-Experience with Zuken and Creo
-Experience with EPDM
-Experience with SAP
-Associate's degree in a related field

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
