Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Specialists to join our Total Quality Organization in Berkeley, MO.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Mid-Level NDT Quality Test Specialists for variable shift, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs basic setup of specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.
• Performs setup of specialized test or measurement equipment.
• Performs limited tests or inspections and collects data for evaluation of products or materials.
• Performs limited analysis of routine test, inspection or statistical data to determine product and processes conformity.
• Assists in review of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to prepare quality assurance plans and tests for hardware and software products, processes and services.
• Maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures.
• Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems.
• Provides ideas and concepts for corrective action development.
• Supports quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements.
• Assists with hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Documents audit results in standard formats.
• Compiles data and provides recommendations for material review disposition.
• Works under general supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1 or more years' experience with NDT Quality Testing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Level 3: 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination or education and experience
• AA degree in related NDT discipline and 1 or more years of related experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
