We work closely with colleagues in our Data and Product functions to maintain the quality of our published data and to deliver content via our growing Lens platform.
Through carrying out primary research, responding to customer questions, and presenting to industry stakeholders, you will build relationships and a network of contacts at key operators, national bodies, and other relevant institutions. Job Description
Role Purpose
Wood Mackenzie is going through a transformation, from a business unit within a NASDAQ listed parent company, to an independent organisation. Our more than 2300 WoodMackers are a key differentiator for us. Engaging all colleagues, as we celebrate our 50th anniversary and map out our future, is the opportunity presented in this new role.
Reporting to the Senior Internal Communications Manager (based in the UK) and working as part of the PR & Internal Communications team, you will have a global remit, liaising with colleagues across all WoodMac offices and senior leaders across our functions, to proactively engage with and deliver our internal communications strategy. You’ll play an active role in creating and executing global campaigns that bring to life our employee engagement strategy.
Main Responsibilities
- Support Senior Internal Communications Manager and Director of Internal Comms & PR in planning and delivering regular cadence of internal communication.
- Craft compelling content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, digital signage, videos, email communications to effectively convey key initiatives and updates.
- Develop and execute effective communication strategies to get engagement and alignment among employees.
- Collaborate across functional teams to ensure consistent and impactful communication.
- Key project deliverable will be supporting the launch of a new employee engagement platform (integrated intranet and email).
- Storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team.
- Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different audiences in the organisation.
- Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messaging.
- Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly.
- Support the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation.
- Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and implement improvements as needed.
