Position Requirements

What you'll need...

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design Strategy, Architecture, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years total experience
  • 8+ years of experience in brand strategy with a focus on retail, environmental, or experiential branding.
  • 5-7 years experience in brand strategy and/or management
  • 3-5 years’ experience working on/building iconic brands, either as a client or within an agency
• Strong portfolio of work demonstrating strategic thinking and execution in physical brand environments.
• Experience working with design and architecture teams, and understanding of space planning and signage systems.
• ​​​​​​​Ability to balance strategic vision with practical execution.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving cross-functional alignment.
• Strong visual literacy and understanding of brand identity systems.
• Ability to align and lead the organization in maximizing brand impact/embedding brand strategy into the culture
• Solid strategic capabilities and demonstrated understanding of how brand effectiveness is measured and articulated to internal stakeholders 
• Ability to evaluate branded materials for voice, visual identity and brand alignment 
• Driven, compassionate and curious — An excellent communicator with stellar listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills

**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**


Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
