This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Transaction Management:
- Provide support to the capital markets team to execute various transactions including:
(a) Structuring Mortgage-Backed Securities.
(b) Mortgage Revenue Bonds.
(c) Securities investments.
(d) Balance sheet management.
(e) Working with wall street firms to execute / settle TBA transactions.
- Communicate with Accounting to process TBA transactions and settlements.
- Assist in providing portfolio data as needed for loan/MBS pooling on bond transactions.
- Receive on-going capital markets training to be able to independently work on projects.
- Interact with outside parties such as investment banks, trustees, commercial banks, rating agencies, and legal counsel.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Assist in updating and providing compliance data for internal and external reporting.
- Help in reaching out to and following-up with outside parties regarding annual tax compliance checklists.
Analytics:
- Assist in creating status reports and charts.
- Extract data from loan servicing, accounting, and other internal systems to perform analysis.
- Monitor hedge counterparty ratings and provide updates on rating changes.
Other:
- Handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and independently in an organized manner
- Help in the maintenance/organization of electronic records
- Learn tasks of fellow team members in order to be able to provide support and back-up when needed
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and additional duties as assigned
May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Position qualifications required are the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related major from an accredited college or university required.
- Desire and curiosity to continue learning about components of various capital markets.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools preferred.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized and capable of prioritizing multiple assignments with various deadlines.
- Ability to work in a small-team environment.
