POSITION DESCRIPTION Sayari is looking for a Financial Reporting Senior who is a process-driven problem solver to join ourteam. The Financial Reporting Senior will work closely with the Controller and CFO to refine processes,controls, and reporting. This candidate will be strong with SaaS accounting, internalcontrols and process improvement. The Financial Reporting Senior will work primarily remotely but should be based in the DMV area and able to come into the office as needed

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the accounting team to prepare internal and external financial reports, monthly key performance indicators and analytic commentary for management
• Prepare consolidated financial statements monthly
• Contribute to the improvement of current accounting processes, policies and procedures, identify gaps, design and implement improvements in systems, processes, internal controls and efficiencies
• Lead the annual external financial statement audit
• Coordinate international statutory reporting requirements in current and new locations
• Provide necessary support for income tax filings prepared by external accounting firm
• Lead tax reporting compliance with state and federal agencies
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Lead implementation of new accounting standards, prepare accounting memos as needed

Skills & Experience:

• Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and or Finance 
• 2-5+ years of Accounting/Finance experience 
• Strong technical accounting skills 
• Desire to be in fast growth environment 


• Desired Skills & Experience: 
• CPA license 
• Mixture of public accounting and corporate accounting experience 
• Prior experience working with SaaS companies 
• Experience with Netsuite
